Fat Cam's at Garver Lake Reviews
Fat Cams has great food and the staff is beyond polite and friendly. Clean, upbeat venue. We really like it. The bacon dip is amazing. The Laketini is delicious. The gumbo is fantastic. Some of the fried fish could use more breading and fried a little more golden brown.. but that's a personal preference thing.
This is easily the fastest 5 star review. You may not think of Cajun food in Michigan but it's worth the stop. I ordered the loaded shrimp and grits which was phenomenal! Also the gator bites as an app were just as good. The bartender Lexi and the owner Kate were just awesome. Super friendly. This is easily the spot to come to. Just a chill environment inside.
I was overly impressed by how well everything was at this amazing restaurant. Very kind and welcoming staff. The bartender Lexi took care of our every need regardless of being busy. And had a great taste in music which brings me to the amazing ambiance of the restaurant which had a laid back but still elegant vibe. And lastly the food was incredible! I recommend the gumbo and the gator bites. Perfect for any date night or just a normal night, I could eat this food every day of my life.
Great food, service is good, and atmosphere is average. Our go to appetizer is the Shrimp Orleans, could put that sauce on anything it is sooo good. We are creatures of habit when eating here and stick to the shrimp and grits and gumbo. Consistently good. Oh the hush puppies are pretty tasty too.
The food and service is always delightful. We had the gator appetizer and seafood ravioli. It was excellent. Nice place for cajun cuisine. Ask to spice it up a notch. Nice atmosphere. Great people.
